With you, step by step

  1. Start by measuring the oats and liquids. The ratio is 1:2 and the usual serving size is 1/2 cup of oats to 1 cup of water, milk, or a combination of both.
  2. Place the oats into a saucepan, cover it with water, and bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce to low, cover, and let it simmer until you get your desired consistency.
  4. Once the oats are cooked, add the vanilla extract, matcha powder, agave syrup and mix until well combined
  5. Serve into a bowl or jar and top with fresh fruit and nuts if desired.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (40 g) of rolled oats (gluten-free if needed)
  • 1 cup of water (240 ml)
  • Pinch of sat
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extra
  • 1 tsp high-quality matcha powder
  • 1 Tbsp agave syrup
  • Fruit of choice or/and nuts to top

Friendly Tips

  • Starting with room temperature water will allow you to get a creamy texture without adding any milk.
  • If it’s too thick, add more water and if it’s very liquid, let it simmer longer so the water evaporates.
  • For the topping we used raspberry but you could also use: banana, kiwi, shredded coconut, almonds, etc.
